Nahakandja is a rural community and cultural region in the fictional nation of Lomara. The name comes from the local language, where 'naha' means people and 'kandja' means river, though oral histories offer alternative etymologies. The area lies along the Nebo River and covers about 140 square kilometers, with savanna woodland and floodplain.

About 6,500 residents live there, primarily of the Nahakandja people. Most are engaged in subsistence farming, growing millet, maize, and sorghum, with some fishing and market-garden along the river.

Historically, the community follows a matrilineal clan system and a council of elders that mediates disputes.
