Muet is a French adjective meaning mute or silent, used to describe someone who cannot speak or to indicate silence. The masculine form is muet and the feminine form is muette. In everyday usage, muet can describe a person, a voice, or a setting characterized by a lack of speech.

MUET
is
administered
several

each
year

and
is
distinct
from
international
tests

as
IELTS
or
TOEFL.
It
is
widely
recognized
within
Malaysia,
though
its
use
outside
the
country
is
limited.
