Malkohas is a term that appears in the Hebrew Bible, specifically in the Book of Exodus. The term is used to refer to the golden calf that the Israelites made while Moses was on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments. The Israelites, seeing Moses delayed, grew impatient and asked Aaron to make them a god to worship while Moses was away. Aaron, in response to their request, gathered gold from the people and had it fashioned into a golden calf. The people then worshipped this idol, leading to a period of punishment and repentance for the Israelites.
