lahustajat
Lahustajat are substances that can dissolve another substance, known as the solute, to form a solution. This process involves the solvent molecules surrounding and interacting with the solute molecules, effectively breaking apart the solute's structure. Lahustajat can be liquids, solids, or gases, although liquids are the most common. Water is a prime example of a universal solvent, capable of dissolving a wide variety of ionic and polar compounds. Organic solvents, such as ethanol and acetone, are also widely used and are particularly effective at dissolving nonpolar substances.
The ability of a lahustaja to dissolve a solute depends on the principle of "like dissolves like."
