intracelulárne
Intracelulárne is a Slovak term that translates to "intracellular" in English. It refers to processes, substances, or locations that occur or exist within a cell. This encompasses a wide range of biological activities and components. For instance, intracellular digestion is the breakdown of food particles within a cell, common in single-celled organisms like amoebas. Intracellular fluid, also known as cytosol, is the substance filling the cell, surrounding the organelles. Many vital metabolic reactions, such as glycolysis, take place intracellularly. The transport of molecules within the cell, from synthesis to their destination, is also an intracellular process. Furthermore, viruses and some bacteria are intracellular parasites, meaning they replicate and reside inside host cells. Understanding intracellular functions is fundamental to comprehending cellular biology and the mechanisms of life at its most basic level.
