In its most general sense, hariduseni expresses how deeply education permeates a society by combining multiple dimensions of schooling into a single metric.

A simple scoring scheme assigns 0–100 points: highest degree completed (0–40), years of schooling (0–30), and standardized skill assessment (0–30).
