Byggi is a municipality in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It is located in the Schaffhausen-Lake Constance region. The municipality includes the villages of Byggi, Millarih, Niederhunern, Nidfurn, Tännich, and Wilen, which collectively cover a land area of approximately 9.3 square kilometers.

As of the 2006 Swiss Census, the population of Byggi was 420 residents. This figure represents a growth of nearly 25% over the course of the 1990s. The linguistic distribution of the population is primarily German-speaking, accounting for around 93% of residents. The remaining 7% prefer to communicate in Swiss-French.

Economic activities in Byggi revolve around agriculture, with the productive land area accounting for 47% of the total territory. The majority of agricultural production centers on freshwater fish farming. Additionally, precursorarias agriculture forms an important source of income for a notable proportion of the residents.
