Bleibendes is a German term derived from bleibend, the present participle of bleiben (to stay, to remain). When used as a noun, Bleibendes (or Das Bleibende) refers to what persists through time—the permanent, the lasting aspects of people, objects, or ideas. It functions as the counterpart to Vergängliches, the transient or impermanent.
