bifokálních
Bifokální refers to bifocal lenses, which are eyeglass lenses that contain two distinct optical powers. This design allows individuals with presbyopia, a common age-related condition causing difficulty focusing on near objects, to see both at a distance and up close with a single pair of glasses. The lenses are divided into two sections, typically with the upper portion for distance vision and the lower portion for near vision. A visible line or a more subtle, segmented area separates these two powers. Bifocal lenses are a long-standing solution to address the diminished ability of the eye's natural lens to change focus, a process known as accommodation. They are prescribed when a person needs correction for both distance and reading. The transition between the different focal points can sometimes take a short period of adjustment for the wearer.
