anagenvaiheesta
Anagenvaiheesta, also known as the anagen phase, is the active growth period for hair follicles. This phase is characterized by cell division at the root of the hair, pushing the hair shaft upwards and outwards. The duration of the anagen phase varies significantly depending on the location of the hair on the body and individual genetics. For example, the anagen phase for scalp hair is considerably longer than for eyebrows or eyelashes, which is why scalp hair can grow much longer. This phase can last anywhere from a few months to several years. The length of the anagen phase determines the maximum potential length of a hair. As the anagen phase progresses, the hair grows continuously. At the end of the anagen phase, the hair follicle enters a transitional period.
