Zellwandabschluss
Zellwandabschluss refers to the process by which a plant cell completes the formation of its cell wall, particularly the middle lamella and the primary cell wall, during cytokinesis. Following nuclear division, the cell plate begins to form in the equatorial region of the parent cell. This cell plate is a precursor to the new cell wall, originating from vesicles derived from the Golgi apparatus. These vesicles are rich in pectins and other cell wall materials.
