Yritysrekisterit are official registers that collect information about companies and other legal entities engaged in economic activity. They serve to document legal existence, support regulatory oversight, enable transparency, and provide up-to-date information to authorities, businesses and the public. In Finland, the primary registers include the Kaupparekisteri (Trade Register) and the Yhteisötietojärjestelmä (YTJ), the national business information system. The Trade Register is maintained by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH).
