Voblasts

Voblasts are a type of administrative division found in the Republic of Belarus. The term "voblast" is derived from the Russian word "oblast," which means "region" or "province." The country is divided into six voblasts, each governed by a voblast executive committee and a voblast council. The voblasts are further subdivided into districts, known as raions, which are administered by raion executive committees and raion councils.

The six voblasts of Belarus are:

1. Brest Voblast

2. Gomel Voblast

3. Grodno Voblast

4. Minsk Voblast

5. Mogilev Voblast

6. Vitebsk Voblast

Each voblast has its own unique characteristics, including cultural, historical, and geographical features.
