UNESCOStätten refers to World Heritage Sites designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). These are places recognized for their outstanding universal value, meaning they are of importance to all of humanity. The World Heritage List includes both cultural and natural sites, encompassing everything from ancient ruins and historic cities to national parks and natural wonders. The primary goal of the World Heritage program is to conserve these irreplaceable sites for future generations.
