Tsütoplasmasid
Tsütoplasmasid is a term derived from Estonian, referring to the cytoplasm, the jelly-like substance that fills the cell and surrounds the organelles. It is a complex mixture of salts, organic molecules, and water, enclosed by the cell membrane. Within the cytoplasm, various cellular processes occur, including glycolysis, protein synthesis, and cell division. The cytoplasm is also responsible for maintaining cell shape and transporting nutrients and waste products. It plays a crucial role in the overall functioning and survival of the cell. The term tsütoplasmasid encompasses both the cytosol, the fluid portion, and the organelles suspended within it.
