Tilakoidmembraan
Tilakoidmembraan refers to the complex, internal membrane system found within chloroplasts and cyanobacteria. These flattened sacs, or thylakoids, are arranged in stacks called grana (in chloroplasts) and are crucial for photosynthesis. The thylakoid membrane encloses the thylakoid lumen, a space that plays a vital role in the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis. Embedded within the thylakoid membrane are the key protein complexes and pigment molecules responsible for capturing light energy and converting it into chemical energy.
