Tbetdependent refers to biological processes or cellular functions that require the T-box transcription factor T-bet. T-bet is a crucial regulator of immune cell differentiation and function, particularly in T helper cells and innate lymphoid cells. Its activity is essential for the development of T helper 1 (Th1) cells, which play a vital role in cell-mediated immunity against intracellular pathogens like viruses and some bacteria.
