TangandHan

Tangandhan is a term that refers to the historical relationship and eventual integration between the Tang Dynasty of China and the various Han peoples and cultures that preceded and existed during its reign. While the Tang Dynasty itself was founded by the Li family, who had mixed Turkic and Han ancestry, the dynasty actively promoted and fostered Han Chinese culture and identity. This period saw a significant flourishing of arts, literature, and governance that are still considered hallmarks of traditional Chinese civilization.

The Tang Dynasty built upon the foundations laid by earlier Han dynasties, particularly the Han Dynasty, and also incorporated influences from other cultures within its vast empire.
