Süsihappegaasideks
Süsihappegaasideks is the Estonian term for greenhouse gases. These are gases in Earth's atmosphere that trap heat. They allow sunlight to pass through the atmosphere and reach the Earth's surface, but they prevent some of the infrared radiation from the Earth from escaping back into space. This process is known as the greenhouse effect, and it is essential for maintaining a habitable temperature on Earth.
The primary greenhouse gases are water vapor (H₂O), carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), nitrous oxide (N₂O), and
Elevated levels of these gases lead to a stronger greenhouse effect, causing global warming and climate change.
