Susceptibilityn

Susceptibility is a measure of how easily a material can be magnetized in an external magnetic field. It is a dimensionless quantity that indicates the degree of magnetization of a material relative to the applied magnetic field. Susceptibility is typically denoted by the Greek letter chi (χ).

There are two types of susceptibility: magnetic susceptibility and diamagnetic susceptibility. Magnetic susceptibility refers to the degree of magnetization of a material in response to an applied magnetic field. It is further divided into paramagnetic susceptibility and ferromagnetic susceptibility.
