Savbázis
Savbázis is a term used in organic chemistry to describe the relationship between acids and bases. It stems from the Brønsted-Lowry acid-base theory, which defines an acid as a proton donor and a base as a proton acceptor. When an acid donates a proton to a base, a conjugate base and a conjugate acid are formed. The conjugate base is what remains of the acid after it has lost a proton, and it has the ability to accept a proton. Conversely, the conjugate acid is what is formed when a base accepts a proton, and it has the ability to donate that proton.
The concept of a conjugate acid-base pair is fundamental to understanding acid-base reactions. These pairs exist
