Saamelaiskäräjäts
The Saamelaiskäräjät, or Sámi Parliament, is the supreme representative body of the Sámi people in Finland. It is an autonomous public law institution established to safeguard the Sámi language, culture, and their rights as an indigenous people. The Saamelaiskäräjät is based in Inari, Finland.
Its primary functions include promoting and preserving Sámi languages and culture, influencing legislation and administrative decisions
The Saamelaiskäräjät operates within the framework of Finnish law but holds significant autonomy in matters concerning
