SLIK

Slik may refer to different things in different contexts.

In Danish (and to some extent in other Scandinavian usage), slik is the common noun for candy or sweets. It covers various confectionery items such as chocolate, gummies, hard candies, and lollies. The word is widely used in everyday language and appears in retail signage and product labeling to denote sweets.

Slik is also the name of a British pop group from Scotland that was active in the 1970s. Formed in Glasgow, the band achieved chart presence in the UK during the mid-1970s. The lineup included singer Midge Ure, who would later gain fame with Ultravox. Slik released several singles before disbanding, and the members pursued other projects in subsequent years.

Beyond these uses, the term slik can appear in other contexts as a proper noun or transliteration in different languages, but the Danish confectionery sense and the 1970s Scottish band are the most widely recognized meanings in English-language reference material.
