Rendszermemóriaként

Rendszermemóriaként is a Hungarian term that translates to "system memory" or "as system memory" in English. It refers to the main Random Access Memory (RAM) available to a computer's operating system and its running applications. This is the primary working space where data and instructions are actively stored and accessed by the CPU for quick retrieval.

When a program is executed, its code and the data it manipulates are loaded from slower storage devices, such as a hard drive or solid-state drive, into the system memory. The faster access speeds of RAM allow the processor to perform operations much more rapidly than if it had to constantly retrieve information from storage. The amount of system memory available directly impacts a computer's ability to multitask and run demanding software. Insufficient system memory can lead to performance degradation, as the operating system may resort to using slower virtual memory (swapping data to storage) to compensate.
