Põhivormilt

Põhivormilt is an Estonian linguistic term meaning "from the base form." It is the elative form of põhivorm, the word for base form or lemma. In grammar and lexicography, põhivormilt is used to mark that a form or derivative originates from the base form of a word.

Usage of the phrase appears mainly in linguistic descriptions, dictionaries, and educational materials. It is not common in everyday speech, but it helps describe derivational relationships clearly by pointing to the source form (the base form) from which other forms are derived.
