Monomerid

Monomerid is a term sometimes used in chemistry to refer to a single, discrete unit or molecule, particularly when discussing larger structures composed of repeating subunits. This concept is most frequently encountered in the context of polymers. Polymers are macromolecules formed by the covalent bonding of many smaller, identical or similar repeating units called monomers. In this context, a monomer is the fundamental building block from which the polymer chain is constructed. For example, in polyethylene, the monomer is ethylene (C2H4). When many ethylene molecules link together, they form the polymer polyethylene.

While "monomerid" isn't a universally adopted or strictly defined technical term, it serves to emphasize the individual nature of a single monomer unit within a larger polymeric or oligomeric system.
