Lapinjärvis
Lapinjärvi is a municipality in the Uusimaa region of Finland. It is located approximately 110 kilometers east of Helsinki. The municipality is situated in the eastern part of Uusimaa, bordering the Kymenlaakso region. The administrative center of Lapinjärvi is the village of Lapinkylä. The area is characterized by its numerous lakes, the largest of which is the lake Lapinjärvi itself.

Historically, the area was settled in the 16th century. The municipality gained its current form through various
