Kuerten refers to Gustavo Kuerten, a former professional tennis player from Brazil. He achieved significant success on the ATP Tour, most notably winning the French Open singles title three times in 1997, 2000, and 2001. His powerful forehand and clay-court prowess earned him the nickname "Guga." Kuerten reached the world number 1 ranking in singles in December 2000 and held it for a total of 43 weeks.
