Kreuzströmung
Kreuzströmung refers to a specific type of fluid flow pattern where two or more currents meet and interact. This intersection can occur in various contexts, including natural phenomena like rivers and ocean currents, as well as engineered systems such as ventilation or cooling systems. The characteristic feature of a kreuzströmung is the complex interplay of forces at the confluence, often leading to turbulence, eddies, and changes in flow direction and velocity.
In hydrological applications, kreuzströmung is observed where tributaries join a larger river or where opposing currents
