Kerr-McGee was an American energy company founded in 1929 as a uranium exploration company. Over the decades, it expanded into oil and gas exploration and production, as well as chemical manufacturing. The company was headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and at its peak, it was one of the largest oil and gas producers in the United States.

Throughout its history, Kerr-McGee was involved in numerous significant projects and operations across the globe. It played a role in the development of offshore oil fields and the exploration of new energy resources.
