Kastellet
Kastellet is a pentagonal fortification located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is one of the best-preserved star fortresses in Northern Europe. Construction began in 1662 and was completed in 1667, following the siege of Copenhagen by Sweden. The fortress was designed by Johan Semp, a Dutch engineer, and later expanded and modified by Danish architects.
