Henergíaveszteség refers to the loss of energy during the process of generating electricity from chicken waste, also known as hen manure. This energy loss can occur at various stages of the conversion process, which typically involves anaerobic digestion or other biomass energy technologies.

The primary energy content in hen manure comes from its organic matter. When this organic matter is broken down to produce biogas or other biofuels, not all of the potential energy is converted into usable energy. Factors contributing to this inefficiency include incomplete digestion, where some organic compounds may not be fully decomposed, and the energy required to maintain the digestion process itself, such as heating and mixing.

Furthermore, the energy used to transport the manure from farms to the processing facility and the energy consumed by the equipment used for processing, purification, and any subsequent electricity generation (e.g., in a generator or turbine) all contribute to the overall energy deficit. The moisture content of the manure also plays a role, as drying processes, if employed, consume significant amounts of energy.
