Halbkreisen
Halbkreisen is a term that can refer to several concepts, primarily in geometry and mathematics, but also occasionally in less technical contexts. In its most common geometric interpretation, a Halbkreis (German for semicircle) is a one-dimensional locus of points that forms half of a circle. This shape is defined by a diameter and the arc connecting the two endpoints of that diameter. The arc is always ninety degrees of the circle's circumference, and the angle subtended by the diameter at any point on the arc is a right angle (90 degrees).
The area of a Halbkreis is half the area of the full circle from which it is
Beyond pure geometry, the term "Halbkreisen" might be used metaphorically to describe something that is incomplete
