Globosidejä

Globosidejä are a class of glycosphingolipids found in cell membranes. They are characterized by a core globotetraosylceramide structure, which consists of a ceramide lipid anchor and a carbohydrate chain. This carbohydrate chain is typically composed of four sugar units: galactose, N-acetylgalactosamine, galactose, and glucose.
