GinsheimGustavsburg
Ginsheim-Gustavsburg is a town in the district of Alzey-Worms in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 kilometers east of Worms and 30 kilometers west of Mainz. The town is named after the two former villages that merged to form it: Ginsheim and Gustavsburg. Ginsheim was first mentioned in a document in 773, while Gustavsburg was founded in the 19th century as a result of the Napoleonic Wars. The town is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including the Ginsheim Castle, which dates back to the 13th century. The town's economy is primarily based on agriculture and small businesses. Ginsheim-Gustavsburg is also home to a number of cultural attractions, including the Gustavsburg Castle, which is a popular tourist destination. The town is served by the Bundesstraße 420 and is located near the A61 motorway.
