Genitívusztal

Genitívusztal, also known as the Hungarian Genitive Case, is a grammatical case used in the Hungarian language to indicate possession or association. It is one of the seven cases in Hungarian, along with the nominative, accusative, dative, inessive, sublative, allative, and adessive cases. The genitive case is formed by adding the suffix "-nak/-nek" to nouns, which can be either singular or plural. For example, the genitive form of "könyv" (book) is "könyvnek," and the genitive form of "könyv" (books) is "könyveknek." The genitive case is used to express ownership, such as "a könyvem" (my book), or to indicate a relationship between two nouns, such as "a ház kertje" (the house's garden). It is an essential aspect of Hungarian grammar, providing a way to express complex relationships and ownership in a concise manner.
