Encontrálo

Encontrálo is a Spanish-language phrase formed by the imperative form encontrá, used with the enclitic direct object pronoun lo. It translates roughly as “find it” and is used as a command or instruction in informal contexts that use the voseo system.

Voseo is characteristic of Rioplatense Spanish (Argentina, Uruguay) and portions of Central America. In these varieties, the imperative for vos is formed by replacing the final -as or -es with -á, and attaching enclitic pronouns such as lo. Therefore, encontrálo literally means “find it (masc.).” The same idea in standard tú Spanish is encuéntralo or encuértralo, depending on regional spelling and accent rules.

Usage and register: It appears in everyday speech, advertising, signage, and digital media that target audiences in voseo-speaking regions. It is not used outside voseo areas and is not considered part of formal Spanish.
