Dinagyan
Dinagyang is a religious and cultural festival held annually in Iloilo City, Philippines, on the fourth weekend of January. It is a vibrant celebration honoring the Santo Niño, the Child Jesus, and commemorates the arrival of Malay settlers to Panay Island. The festival is renowned for its dynamic street dancing competitions, where choreographed performances showcase the rich heritage and traditions of the region. Groups, known as "tribes," don colorful costumes and elaborate headdresses as they move to the infectious beat of drums.
