Dialyzátu

Dialyzátu refers to the fluid used in dialysis, a medical treatment that filters waste products and excess fluid from the blood when the kidneys are not functioning properly. This fluid, also known as dialysis fluid or dialysate, is carefully prepared and has a specific composition designed to facilitate the removal of toxins and excess water from the patient's bloodstream.

The primary components of dialyzátu typically include purified water, electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, and a buffer, commonly bicarbonate or lactate. The concentrations of these substances are precisely controlled to create an osmotic and concentration gradient across the semipermeable membrane used in dialysis machines. This gradient drives the diffusion of waste products like urea and creatinine from the blood into the dialyzátu, and the removal of excess electrolytes and fluid from the blood into the dialyzátu.

Dialyzátu is prepared sterile and pyrogen-free to prevent infection and fever in patients. It can be supplied in ready-to-use bags or mixed on-demand by a dialysis machine from pre-mixed concentrates and purified water. The specific composition of dialyzátu can be adjusted by the healthcare provider based on an individual patient's needs and laboratory results, particularly their electrolyte levels and fluid balance.
