Demodulado is a Spanish term that translates to "demodulated" in English. In the context of telecommunications and signal processing, demodulation is the process of extracting information from a carrier wave. A carrier wave is a high-frequency signal that is used to transmit information over a distance. The information is typically encoded onto the carrier wave through a process called modulation.

Demodulation is the reverse of modulation. A demodulator, which is a device or circuit, receives the modulated carrier wave and separates the original information signal from the carrier.
