Deltaadaptin1s
Deltaadaptin1s, also known as ARPC2, is a protein that plays a role in cell biology. It is a subunit of the Arp2/3 protein complex, which is a key regulator of actin filament branching. The Arp2/3 complex is involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell migration, endocytosis, and cytokinesis. Deltaadaptin1s itself does not appear to have significant roles outside of its function within the Arp2/3 complex. Its gene is located on chromosome 15. Mutations in the gene encoding deltaadaptin1s have been linked to certain developmental disorders. Research into deltaadaptin1s and its function continues to shed light on the intricate mechanisms of the cytoskeleton and its importance in cellular and organismal health.
