CysLT1 receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in the inflammatory response. It is a target for cysteinyl-leukotrienes, which are inflammatory mediators produced by mast cells and other leukocytes. The binding of cysteinyl-leukotrienes to the CysLT1 receptor triggers a signaling cascade that leads to the contraction of airway smooth muscle, increased vascular permeability, and the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines.

The CysLT1 receptor is widely expressed in various tissues, including the lungs, blood vessels, and the central nervous system. It is also present in certain immune cells, such as eosinophils and basophils.
