Budowy

Budowy is the Polish noun that denotes construction activities, building projects, or construction sites in the plural form. The term is derived from budowa, meaning the act of building, and the verb budować (to build). In everyday usage, budowy can refer both to the process of constructing and to the sites where construction takes place, so one can speak about the budowy of houses, roads, factories, or other infrastructure, as well as about the activity in general.

In practice, the phrase na budowie is used to indicate being at a construction site. Specific types of budowy include budowy mieszkaniowe (residential developments), budowy drogowe (road or highway construction), budowy przemysłowe (industrial facilities), and budowy energetyczne (energy projects).
