B22s

B22s, formally known as the Rolls-Royce Merlin Mk. 22, was a British aircraft engine developed during World War II. It was a liquid-cooled, V-12 piston engine that proved to be a highly successful and reliable powerplant. The Merlin engine family was critical to the Allied war effort, and the B22 variant represented a significant advancement in its development.

The B22 featured improvements over earlier Merlin models, including increased power output and enhanced reliability. These enhancements allowed it to be used in a variety of frontline aircraft, most notably in early versions of the iconic Supermarine Spitfire and the Hawker Hurricane.
