Alapmértékegységek

Alapmértékegységek, in English base units, are the fundamental and independently defined units within a system of measurement. These units are not derived from other units but serve as the building blocks for all other derived units within that system. The most widely recognized system of base units is the International System of Units, or SI.

The SI system currently defines seven base units: the meter for length, the kilogram for mass, the second for time, the ampere for electric current, the kelvin for thermodynamic temperature, the mole for the amount of substance, and the candela for luminous intensity. Each of these base units has a precise definition that is based on fundamental physical constants or phenomena.
