Ahelühenduse

Ahelühenduse, a term originating from Estonian, translates to "chain connection" or "series connection" in English. It refers to a method of linking multiple components or devices together in a sequential manner, where the output of one component serves as the input for the next. This type of connection is common in electrical circuits, where resistors, capacitors, or other electrical elements are arranged one after another along a single path. In such a circuit, the electric current flows through each component in turn.

The primary characteristic of a series connection is that the total resistance, capacitance, or inductance of the chain is the sum of the individual component values. Similarly, the voltage across the entire chain is distributed among the individual components.
