ülemaagiummetallid

Ülemaagiummetallid, also known as superheavy elements, are chemical elements with atomic numbers greater than 103. These elements are synthetic and are not found naturally on Earth. They are created in laboratories through nuclear fusion reactions, typically by bombarding lighter elements with ions or neutrons.

The synthesis of ülemaagiummetallid is a challenging process due to their extremely short half-lives and the low probability of their formation. Many of these elements have only been produced in a few atoms at a time and have lifetimes measured in microseconds or even less. Their chemical properties are largely predicted through theoretical calculations and extrapolation from the periodic table, as there is insufficient material to perform extensive experimental studies.

The known ülemaagiummetallid include elements from rutherfordium (atomic number 104) onwards.
