Wizualizacja is the process of representing information, data, or phenomena in visual form to aid understanding and communication. It covers data visualization, scientific visualization, information visualization, and domain-specific forms such as architectural or medical visualization. The term follows Polish spelling for visualization, derived from Latin visualis; the verb wizualizować means to create a visual representation.

Different types serve various goals. Data visualization uses charts, graphs, maps, and dashboards to reveal patterns. Scientific visualization renders physical phenomena with techniques such as volume rendering and surface models. Information visualization focuses on abstract relationships such as networks. Architectural and product visualization produces renderings and walkthroughs to communicate design ideas before construction or fabrication.

Effective wizualizacja relies on appropriate visual encodings, clear labeling, careful color choices, and alignment with task objectives. Interactivity and animation can aid both exploration and explanation. Common tools include Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js for data visualization; MATLAB, ParaView, and Blender for scientific visualization; and CAD or GIS software for architectural and geographic visualization.

Challenges include the risk of misrepresentation, clutter and overplotting, accessibility considerations, and issues of scalability and reproducibility. Good wizualizacja aims to present insights clearly and accurately, enabling interpretation while maintaining honesty about data limitations and methods.
