In imagined accounts, the Trwaoci originate in a river valley region of central Europe during the late Bronze Age to early Iron Age transition, roughly 1200–800 BCE. They are described as agrarian communities organized into kin-based clans, with a regional political system centered on a council of elders and village assemblies.
