sterowaniem

Sterowaniem is the instrumental singular form of the Polish noun sterowanie, which means steering or control. The noun sterowanie refers to the act or process of directing the operation of a device, system, or mechanism, and is used in technical, industrial, and everyday language. The instrumental form sterowaniem is used to express the means by which something is controlled, as in phrases indicating the method, for example “sterowaniem pojazdem” (by steering the vehicle) or “sterowaniem ręcznym” (manual control).

In technical contexts, sterowanie covers control theory and automation: automatic control (sterowanie automatyczne), a control system (system sterowania); devices such as controllers (sterownik) and actuators; and concepts like regulation and control (regulacja i sterowanie).
